The city of Chesterfield is the third westernmost suburb of Saint Louis second only to Wildwood and Eureka. It is the second largest city in Saint Louis County by area, and the largest city by population. It is bordered to its north primarily by the Missouri River and Saint Charles County although a small portion also borders the city of Maryland Heights and unincorporated Saint Louis County.
